We attend and act on behalf of Vessel Owners, Managers, Operators, Flagstates, Class Societies, Shipping Lines, Authorities, you name it. We attend and protect our principals interests whatever case it is we are appointed to.
Our office is based in Willemstad, Curacao which is strategically located in the heart of the Caribbean region.

Valuation
FULL CONDITION SURVEYS
Full Condition Surveys are mostly required for insurance or (re)finance purposes.
If requested we can include a “replacement value for evaluation purposes only” in our Report.
In case a formal valuation is required we can be of service working together with INVACO/Van Ameyde Group.
PRE-PURCHASE CONDITION SURVEYS
This Survey gives potential buyers a good view on the current condition of the vessel in all aspects. Besides the technical condition of the hull and machinery all paperwork like Class/Flagstate/Marpol certificates and documents are checked. The suitability of the vessel for the intended purposes can be part of this Survey.

ON-HIRE/ OFF-HIRE AND BUNKER SURVEYS
At the beginning or ending of a charter the condition of the vessel is inspected and documented including photographic evidence of damages found. Depending on the requirements an inventory list and determining the bunkers o/b can be included.

DAMAGE SURVEYS
Acting on behalf of P&I Clubs and /or H&M Underwriters or any other party involved we have a wide range of experience with regard to surveying and reporting on damages of all kinds like Hull/Bottom/ Rudder/Propulsion/Engine.
Based on Curacao where the biggest Ship Yard of the region is also located (Damen Shiprepair Curacao) we can be you eyes and ears monitoring the execution of damage repair work. We know this shipyard very well and as certified Damen Contractor/Supplier we have unlimited access to the yard and have built a good working relation with the yard’s Management and Project Managers.
CARGO DAMAGE SURVEY
As Lloyd’s sub agent for Curaçao, Aruba and Bonaire, Bramar has established their name as cargo surveyor on the islands.
When not acting on behalf on Lloyd’s we can attend on behalf of Insurers, Adjusters, Shipping Lines, Agents or the receivers such as supermarkets and whole sale distributers.
(Bramar has a, by Lloyd’s Maritime Academy certified, cargo surveyor employed to guarantee expertise and integrity on every job)
MARINE WARRANTY SURVEYS/ TOW-OUTS
With a lot of experience in the towing business we can be of assistance preparing a tow and issue/co-sign the Certificate of Approval. If necessary we can inspect and certify towing gear.
DRAFT SURVEYS
Since 2011 we attend at Draft Surveys on a regular basis in order to determine the dead weight of cargo loaded/discharged.
INSPECTION AND CERTIFICATION
OF LIFTING AND TOWING GEAR
The inspection and certification of lifting and towing gear is one of our specialties where we attend for a wide range of purposes. This can vary from the inspection NDT testing and load testing of pad eyes for a specific project to the annual inspection of all lifting gear of an oil rig anchored at the Aruba maintenance Area.
INDUSTRIAL VALUATION
Working together with the global operating company van Ameyde Waarderingen (Invaco) we can arrange the formal valuation of Industrial sites like power plants, refineries etc. Some of our clients are Aqualectra, Curoil, Curacao Refinery Untilities, KTK, Lindegas and several hotels and resorts on Curacao and surrounding islands.
